When Could Lamine Yamal Return to Barcelona?

Barcelona has not publicly confirmed Yamal’s individual return date.

Reports indicate that the club’s Spanish World Cup winners could return to training around August 12 after completing their post-tournament breaks. That date should be treated as an expected timeline rather than a confirmed appearance date for Yamal.

He may need fitness testing and several training sessions before Flick gives him meaningful match minutes. Barcelona has no reason to rush one of its most important attackers during preseason when the priority is preparing him for competitive fixtures.

Barcelona’s La Liga opener against Elche is scheduled for August 23. That leaves Yamal additional preparation time after his holiday ends.
